I am a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker with extensive experience across medical, crisis, and end-of-life settings. I earned my Master of Social Work from Florida State University in 2010 and began my career in school-based services before transitioning into hospice care, where I developed a strong foundation in grief work, family systems, and navigating complex medical realities.
My professional background also includes work in Level 1 trauma centers and emergency departments as a mental health assessor, providing a well-rounded perspective on both acute and ongoing mental health needs.
My clinical work is grounded in Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT). I focus on helping clients build emotional flexibility, clarify their values, and take meaningful action—even in the presence of anxiety, grief, or uncertainty.
I approach therapy as a collaborative, transparent process. My goal is to provide practical tools and a steady space where clients can move forward in a way that feels aligned, sustainable, and true to who they are.
Holding Space is where insight meets action—because understanding yourself is only helpful if it actually changes how you live.
